Strawberry Lemonade Nails!

Hello, friends!

Aren’t you so glad it’s summer? And what’s better in summertime than a nice, refreshing glass of lemonade?

STRAWBERRY lemonade!

And in the spirit of summer, I have a new strawberry lemonade nail tutorial! This design is super quick and easy, but it does require some materials.

Here’s what you need:

Step 1:

As always, start off with a base coat! I use Sally Hansen’s Diamond Nails. Base coat has so many great purposes! It protects your nails, it helps the polish go on smooth, and it prevents staining that may occur if you use bright or dark polish colors.

Step 2:

Paint your nails a nice pinky color!

I used Island Coral by Sinful Colors. It’s a summery pink that isn’t too overwhelming. Plus, it goes well with lemony yellow!

Step 3:

It’s time to add the lemons!

I only painted 2, but you can go as crazy as you want.

I painted two little half circles on the corner of my thumb and ring finger using Avon’s Sunshine.

Step 4:

To add some detail to the lemons, I used a white nail striper from Kiss. If you don’t have one of these and you plan to do a lot of nail decorating in the future, I highly suggest getting some in at least black and white. They’re super useful!

Step 5:

As always, finish your design with a top coat to create a nice shine and prevent chipping of the polish. I used a top coat by Pure Ice.

And there you go! A fun, summery nail design!

You can add more lemons if you want. Personally, I just wanted to keep it nice and simple.

I hope you’ve enjoyed this short nail tutorial! I’d love to see your recreations and hear suggestions in the comment section!
Thanks for reading!
With Love ❤
